I think it can go either way. Some people you might hit it off with right away. I like it when it's more slowly developing though. And yes to the second question and that's all I've gotta say about that. And 3rd yeah my husband I didn't like at first but once we met in person he grew on me. But in movies and shows I like relationships where the people dislike each other but then grow and eventually end up being well suited to one another after-all.

The past five or six hours since I read the above question have consisted of me mentally reviewing every romantic scene I've watched in recent memory. When my husband arrived home from work I even asked him for his opinion since often it is helpful to brainstorm. Instead of narrowing things down I actually began remembering even more movie romances that had been my favorites down through the years. By the time he had to return to work I had decided it was going to be impossible for me to pick just one all-time favorite romantic scene. So I intend to discuss my favorite romantic movie scenes, note the plural, of all time. They are in no particular order.

It's a 3-way tie between Mal from Firefly, the Ninth Doctor from Doctor Who, and the nuTrek Bones. Mal because he's so darn heroic, Nine cause he's just such an angsty, moody, manly pouter AND he can show me all of time and space in his TARDIS, and Bones because he's so hot and funny and cantankerous. (spelling?)

I have only seen one episode but I already am totally pulled in! So I made a promo from the first episode, this is my first time seriously trying to do something like this so I hope you like it. I'm a little unhappy with the audio toward the end, sorry! I hope you enjoy it though. ^_^

Guh this is embarrassing but I wanna say it might've been Will Scarlet from The Prince of Thieves, I thought Christian Slater was sooo cute. <3 lol

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
the Ninth Doctor in Doctor Who and Doctor McCoy from the new Star Trek movie

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
Edward Cullen (sorry guys!!!!)

4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
Hmmm I know a lot of people do love Nine, but most are in love with Ten since he's so pretty so I'll go with Nine on thsi one.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer:
Hmm tough one, cause it's not that I dislike them, I just have moved on, and I think I'd have to say Mal from Firefly. If I focus hard enough I can conjure back up the love, but it's died down a bit.

6. The character I used to dislike but don't any longer:
the Tenth Doctor lol

7. The character I'd want to be like:
Zoe from Firefly, she's so strong and beautiful and yet loving and loyal. She's also extremely capable of taking care of things and good in a fight.

8. The character I'd slap:
Wow...there's just so many I have no idea where I'd even start...lol Oh! I know I wanna reach out and slap Temprence Brennon from Bones. Definitely. Sometimes she's just soooo analytically rationally minded she's just retarded.

9. A pairing that I love:
Eek I must pick just one? My current thing is the Doctor & Rose. <3

10. A pairing that I despise:
Rose and 10.5

11. The minor character I love:

AHA! I love grrrrr...just not coming sorry. Mind totally blank on this one. My bad!

I woke up this morning and realized all of a sudden that the date was 09-09-09. I know I'm a bit slow with these things but seriously I am usually doing good just knowing what day of the week it is. So anyway, I thought to myself it was a shame I didn't have a Ninth Doctor tribute prepared and then I realized I could dust off an old project that I'd had trouble completing in the past and trim it down to just the portion I'd wanted to dedicate to Nine and put it together. So it's a bit late in the day, and I kept it very minimalistic in terms of transitions and effects, in fact it's just all simple fades and cross-overs.

I'm sorry it's been a long time since I've put anything new out, and I know that I trimmed the song, but I honestly just wanted to show the story of Benjamin and Daisy, so I didn't need the repeated chorus at the end, and I didn't really have enough clips for it.

For those of you that don't know the story of the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, it starts out with an aged and dying Daisy laying in the hospital in New Orleans, Katrina off the coast and approaching. She requests that her daughter take a journal out and start reading it. In it is outlined the life story of Benjamin, who as a baby was born old and infirm and as the years went by grew younger and younger. Daisy's daughter also learns that this Benjamin was her actual father, but feared becoming a growing burden to Daisy and left when she was only a baby. Daisy does in fact take care of Benjamin in his 'old age' until he dies. And then as Katrina begins to make landfall Daisy also dies.

It's a bit of a downer I know, but the song and story just seemed to fit somehow. I hope you guys like it!

*A note about he audio- there's transitions I used because there were things I heard using my earphones that I do NOT hear just using speakers so if you think I was crazy for putting some things there, that's why lol.

Well last night after polishing my nails I worked a bit on my story ideas. I wrote down the plot points I already had established in my mind that I wanted to write about and then listed the things I still needed to work up. Then I wrote out some detailed ideas I had. I still need to work out some other things but hopefully soon I can get to the writing stage! I wish I could remember more from school about the stages of writing lol.

Wow sooo hard to pick just one! I think one that's remained a favorite despite the fact that it has no effects or anything...is my video done to the Howling by Within Temptation. I love it so much.

Least favourite video:
Oh super easy, I did a remake of my first ever video for a contest, but I rushed it and I didn't really have any new or fresh clips to use so I pretty much hate the results. But some people liked it so I leave it up.

A video that got surprisingly good feedback, but you are not completely satisfied with it:
That would be the 'Dark Lord of the Phoenix Saga' which was an X-men/LotR crossover AU vid that I did. I'm unhappy with some editing choices I made, but it's my 2nd highest viewed video!



A video you like a lot that didn't get the good reaction you were expecting:

Definitely my Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon video to Everybody's Fool by Evanescence. I loved this video so much, it meant a LOT to me but is one of my least popular ones.



Best song/video combo (the song you chose was just perfect for the theme):

This one isn't up anymore but I did a video for "Stand My Ground" by Within Temptation for the Matrix movies. It was sooo perfect. Also I think most of my Doctor Who videos the songs fit the music really well, same goes for my Lord of the Rings videos. I swear the Howling was MADE for LotR!

A video you'd like to remaster:
I generally don't like to redo- but I would like to one day remake "Cut Me Mick" for Heroes and "All I Need" for Lost. With the clips I was trying to use for Lost it kept making Vegas crash and I just got lazy with my editing a bit, so I own them all on DVD now I'd love to try a redo on it!

Disrespectful people, clip theft, using clips which contain parts of the intro credits or subtitles. GAAAAH crop them out or something pleeeease! lol

I'd really love to try my hand at writing again. I'm really itching to do some creative stuff, but I also have other obligations to take care of so I really want to improve in my time management. Which is hard cause it's so easy to just sit here and play on FB all day. >_< I did just get a new video out which I'm excited about and I learned I placed in a huge contest on youtube with one of my Doctor Who videos. And I'm psyched I made this pretty Galadriel Icon I'm very happy with. Gah so much bouncing around, I'll probably end up not doing anything at all. =\ Oh well...

Absolutely I am! And I hope to find Doctor McCoy. :D
